Correct me if im wrong but from my understanding compression testing wont tell you if you have worn OIL rings cause they are two different rings....you have compression rings and oil rings so you can possibly have perfect compression but burn out rings where you will still be burning oil right...
Yeah i saw but i have the FP not the FS, the FP was specifically made for the 1999-2000 protege ES models. Its a destroked FS. They had nothing for that unfortunately :(
Yeah it seems like a good idea if you can get the stuff at a reasonable price, plus you can build it on the side which is a huge bonus. My car has 190,xxx miles and its slowly been getting worse and worse i think ill just let it go instead of pouring more money into it and just put the money in...
Thankyou yeah i just was really tired. Yeah ill probly just go ahead and do the full build. I mean in the end its gonna be fully worth it, and how much time in gonna put into it i might as well do it all. Thanks!
Yeah im not smoking anything i just got off a 12 hour shift and correct names werent comming into my head, i apologize that i offended you. (fu) You obviously know what i meant, if you dont feel like heping then just dont comment.
Why wouldn't they fit? And I might overbore my piston ports, I can choose my overbore when I buy the pistons, I can choose a stock bore but I'll probly get a .20 + bore
