The dot points to one of four corners. You say it's outside, but that could be outside front or outside rear.

Am I going to need new diff bearings as well if my diff broke? Or is that something I won't know until the everything is disassembled?

So my stock Mazdaspeed Protege LSD broke the other day. I think I am going to pick up one of these. I'm still unclear exactly which version I need to order.

Just set it to recirculate. When it's set for fresh outside air, there is an open passage pointing to the outside, and when your car moves, some air blows in.

Where are you running the vac line from?
