They're OK in the snow. They're not Blizzaks, but they got me through one NJ winter just fine. They do really well in the rain, so they also do pretty well in the slush/sleet crap we get all the time.

My personal opinion is that it's better to do drain and fills and slowly replace the fluid a few quarts at a time. Flushing an old transmission with burnt fluid can dislodge serious amounts of crap that can clog your transmission filter or other small fluid passages. That said, if it's...
