Ya I replaced them, when I ordered the wires and spark plugs the coil packs and boots came with it... And I replaced that before I replaced the cat. That little package was the first thing I replaced on the vehicle when I had the misfire, in oct 2009

PS thanks for the coil pack education.. The coil packs aren't the little coils in the boots that go between the wires and the spark plugs are they?

I wish I could have stopped driving it but not exactly an option for me so, sucks to be me I made the car suck more than it already did. I clear the codes almost daily this problem has been going on for 1.5 years for me... I put money into it when I can I am a student, will be working soon...

Cool I can try replacing the coil packs then, just thought if they tested good, they were good. Got the p0421 the first time I got the p0300 light, after the converter was replaced... So what's that mean?

Yes the valve was replaced at the time the ERG kit was updated says my receipt :)

I keep getting told it is not a problem with the fuel pump, fuel filter or fuel injectors by two shops (one mazda one not) but they have not been replaced and i do not know what has been done to test or check them... But they are the only things left to replace.. I am due to talk to a third shop...
