I also got my 2nd letter about two weeks ago. But I was able to get the fix done this past Monday, along with the 30k mile service (and a couple of warranty issues).

Has anyone tried Yokohama AVID ENVigors on their 5 yet? I'm trying to decide between these and the Conti ExtremeContact DWS's. The Yoko's are getting really good reviews at TireRack, but also backordered, unfortunately.

This has happened to me 3 or 4 times over the past couple of years. I think it might be heat or humidity related. But the radio also shut down once when I ended a call using bluetooth, so I can't be sure. Of course, I can never reproduce the problem when I take it in for service.

It needs to be reset, either at the dealership, service station or someone with an OBD-II diagnostic scanner. (Or if you know somebody who has a ScanGauge II, I think).
