Who has got the highest mileage CX-9 out there?

So bumping this thread for my 2013 Cx-9, which I purchased CPO at 16k miles. I'm currently at 199260, and will likely hit the 200k mark in the next week or so. Here's my list of repairs over the years: Body Control Module at ~80k (under warranty) Rear Axle Seals at ~95k (under warranty)...

    CX-9 brake booster is bad?

I just replaced my booster on my 13, my issue was much more noticeable when reversing. It wasn't so much the pedal not returning, but it just wouldn't stop. Do your brakes work ok/better while the car is at speed vs from a stop/parked/low speed? I'd check your brake fluid too. Low fluid could...

CX9 Overall Reliability and Owner Satisfaction

Mind I have a 2013 but you haven't had fun until you've power steered through an icy corner just using the throttle! I'd hope that the newer versions are more rear drive biased during fun driving too, but haven't had a chance to test that. (back in 2013 I got to test drive all my potentials...

    Differential axle seal is leaking

For sake of posterity and waking up a 4 year old thread, my 2013 is now getting it's second set of seals on it today. I do go to a dealership as honestly the local shops I've been using have been pretty comparable in price over the years, at least on this particular car. Anyway the first set of...

    2016 Transfer case

I might be wrong as I didn't actually see the case, but after taking my 2013 in for an oil change, during a slow time the tech showed me the specs and diagram of the 2016 Transfer case and it appears to have a drain as well as a fill plug. You have to get under the car to do it but it's there...

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

Mazda going back to traditionally somewhat bad HVAC? All my old mazda's that were built in Japan had very poor heat and a/c. I recall once I even got one of the protege's to snow inside;) My current cx9 is about the best one we've had in terms of HVAC.

brand new car, wheel alignment after only 5000 km (3100 miles) ?

Our 02 Protege needed an alignment almost from the day we had it and got one at around 50 miles.. That care was always a bit out of alignment. Even a near totaling of the front end and replacement of the entire front suspension never solved it. Was never a huge deal it just got out of alignment...

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

I was able to check a signature model out today while mine was getting an oil change. I didn't drive one but since it was 730a and there were no sales people I was able to pour over the car for nearly 30 minutes. Notes: Signature is very nicely appointed. The leather and the feel of the quality...

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

With that I might have to consider driving to Canada and purchasing one up there;) if that's possible. I do see a lot of Canadian imports in MN, especially the Chevy Captiva.

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

My uncle had an 8 track in his pickup truck. Summer of my senior year I bought a cheap $400 runabout Topaz that just had an AM radio. That really stunk. I purchased a good old "realistic" pull out tape player. worked nicely and transfered into a much nicer ford tempo. That is until my dad...

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

Quality is one thing, but quantity is a whole other ball park. Honestly most of the music I listen too, (outlaw country, old country, blues, etc. adn the odd heavy metal song) I honestly don't hear the difference, maybe its too many years blasting metallica through my head phones as a youth eh...

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

Lol you just made me realize that I've never had a CD in mine....I honestly don't recall the last time I actually used a CD for myself! Between my phone and memory sticks I'm pretty digital these days I guess.

I want to soundproof CX 9

Lol the cx9 is the quietest Car I've owned in a while, mind you we had a MX6, protege's and a contour before that so it's not saying much. I will say that the cx9 is by far the quietest Mazda I've had. Of course it's not a lexus, but I didn't want to drive a marshmallow.

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

I'll be intrigued to see how well it does. Mazda's have always been a bit under powered IMO, but they make up for it in the handling dynamics usually. I'm just worried about durability, turbos and all have a record of not really lasting over 100k without replacement, which is generally a bit...

CX9 no show at Twin Cities Auto Show?

I like the Twin Cities show but it's a low tier show. There is seldom models that are coming out, last year they didn't have a new Miata. Par for the course with this one I'm afraid.
