Definitely fix, a new headgasket isn't too difficult to install and if you have some assistance then it should be relatively quick. Ask around the forums to see if there is anyone in your area willing to help, I know I've seen some modded Protege's from around your area. I know Fattimotorworks...

Nice, you got pictures? I was looking to get either a F series or a Ram but decided to spend a little less and got my Nissan Titan Pro4X. Hopefully you decided to get the Protege out of storage, too epic of a build to let it sit around.

I know this update is a little less informative and my thought process is running everywhere but I'm in the middle of work and just wanted to post something up as I forgot about this thread.

I also got some MS6 front brakes, DBA 4000 rotors, and Hawk HP Plus pads. They look good behind the Enkei EVO 8 wheels ;) The Samco hose is a little too close for comfort to the wastegate but I'm hoping the DEI tape helps out on that issue.

So it's been a long while since my last update and I've made some significant progress on it. I got the motor all together and installed all the hard brake lines. Master cylinder is on and all but the front motor mount is on. Also installed the subframe, tie rods and tie rod ends. Steering rack...

I just saw them play last week. They were Bristow, VA last week. Also saw them at Rock on the Range in May.

Looks like Preferio can hook you up, and getting a -10 AN fitting welded into an NA one is easy and cheap if you know where to go.
