Right rear puncture this morning - NO TPMS?!

I'm less-inclined to speculate on what the issue actually was but more curious as to whether or not anyone else here has ever heard of anything like this on the late model "kodo" Mazdas.

Right rear puncture this morning - NO TPMS?!

Just as it states. Had a small jagged piece of metal lodge in the outer rim of the stock 255/50/19" GT tire, and thankfully I didn't have any music on because over the course of 5 minutes I began to hear a periodic "rubbing" noise when taking S-curves. By the time 5 minutes had elapsed there was...

    The CX-5 LED Lighting Thread

I could justify Tritons up front but definitely not in the rear. What there's really no cure for is people not using signals when, where, and how they should. And often it's either all of those three or nothing. The problem is that people put their thoughts and own sense of self-importance...

    Adjusting Fog LIghts

Hey, I didn't ask your opinion. LOL I posted pictures elsewhere so people can decide for themselves. ;) What's kind of holy is how I haven't hit (or been hit by) a single object in 17 years of driving. I attribute much of that to lighting.

    The CX-5 LED Lighting Thread

In the first video all I noticed was baggy pants and poor editing. ;) And there's no optical difference I can see. With little or no increase in brightness, and not being switchbacks, why spend 30 times the price of an incandescent for rear signals? In the second vid, the bike turn signal...

    Adjusting Fog LIghts

Also try H11 CREE LED fogs that operate at 20+ watts actual. There will be less of a gray area / difference in coverage and brightness between the fogs and low beams.

    Did advertising pursuade you?

Actually the main persuaders were accomplished YouTube reviewers - the ones that drive new demo cars. During reviews of things like the CR-V and RAV they kept mentioning how much better and more fun the CX-5 was to drive. After that, there were the x/10 review sites (Edmunds, etc.) and the...

    The CX-5 LED Lighting Thread

This thread has obviously wandered away from practicality and into the land of theoretics and supposition. I see sentences and no data. All fine points. The original still stands, though. Gas filled bulbs' days are numbered, in nearly any application one can think of. And in contrasting value...

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

LOL! Yep, they're about 16" long in front and 8" in the rear by about 3" wide. This leaves about 1/8" of uncovered surface on the inner and outer edges once installed. They're also very thin but not paper thin. That said, watch that you don't bend them and make ultra sure they're where you...

    The CX-5 LED Lighting Thread

Not everyone uses tower bulbs... Who has copied CREE's design? Company names? I thought the Chinese bought reels of authentic CREE diodes.

When do you think Blue Book and NADA values will be available for used 2014's?

And the score alone isn't the biggest determining factor either. My score was the same when I bought my '08 Impreza, but I only made 2/3 of what I do now and I had a fairly high revolving balance. That translated to 7.9%.

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Received and installed these today in 5 minutes. $33 shipped on eBay. Only took two weeks from China. They reflect the sunlight very well and are extremely shiny. Very happy with them.

    The CX-5 LED Lighting Thread

Still not worth the price. They're turn signals for crying out loud. Who can't see a turn signal unless the bulb's out? And how could "optics" of any 1157 augment a neighboring HID in any discernible way? My magnified CREE bulbs work great in filling the outer headlamp outline, especially for...
