Check for water around the coil pack and spark plug recess. I had misfires on cylinder 2 and that was the problem. Probably caused by driving through lots and lots of hard rain.

The Potenza RE050 is a ultra high performance summer tire with a 140 treadwear rating. If you want something that will last a long time I would recommend the Pirelli PZero Nero M+S. Lots of people have this problem. I don't think anyone has a definite solution. My DashHawk shows about 7 degrees of knock retard when it happens so I assume it is the ECU pulling timing. Not sure how to really fix knocking other than higher octane fuel (maybe race fuel?).
