    Changing the horn

I want a "beep" type horn. Our horns sound so weird. Is it because they aren't dual type horns? I kind of like the import type horn for the CX5. Something seems missing with the horn.. cant figure it out.

driver side mirror vibration, and a few other questions...

I don't notice the mirror problem in mine as much as others, but it does vibrate a little bit. Stop looking at it and it will likely go away. ;)

    7500 mile report

Not sure about the Km but change the oil at 7500 miles if you drive under normal conditions. These vehicles require synthetic oil (0W-20) so 7500 miles is fine. Check your manual to be sure. If you tow a trailer or drive under harsh conditions I think the intervals are 3750 miles. Hope...

    7500 mile report

Out CX5 hit the 7500 mile mark a few days ago. I thought I'd report on what I think so far about the purchase. The complaints: 1. The rear head restraints are too large and interfere with vision. We've removed them and placed them on the rear floorboard. In the cases where we have rear...

    7500 mile service

Last week our CX5 hit 7500 miles. Dealer did an oil change and rotated tires for 60 dollars (before taxes). Avg mpg at that point was 29.6 (last reset was at 1000 miles). I reset the avg mpg at 7500 and will see how the next 7500 miles goes.

    7500 mile service

I called my dealer and the 7500 mile service is 60 dollars total. They use Mazda 0w20 synthetic and perform a rotation. Not bad.

Problem removing bug residue/etching from gloss black plastic at top of grille

I'm using dryer sheets as well and work amazingly well. Love Bugs come off with ease. I love this tip. Don't laugh, but another "preventative" method is to spray Pam (non stick cooking spray) on the front bumper and hood edge. Spray on a sponge first and apply.. it will not harm the paint...

    Fuel mileage gets better

On all interstate.. like on a road trip I get about 35 to 36 mpg. That's different than my weekly average. Yeah I drive to work on mostly interstate but I do log in-town miles on weekends and running around to places after work. My "all around" average has jumped from 28 to 30, not my...

    Fuel mileage gets better

We're at the 4000mile mark and our overall mileage is now hitting 30 MPG. I've noticed it improving as we put more and more miles on the car. Although the exact driving scenario is not exactly the same every week, the routine is for the most part the same.. back and forth to work 5 days a week...

How well do the rain-sensing wipers work?

Oh, and I like the rain sensing wipers. Works fine for me. I have the sensitivity setting at about the halfway point.

How well do the rain-sensing wipers work?

You can turn the auto wiper mode off from the center panel LCD screen. .When you do this the wipers go to manual and you can use them in intermittent mode. Someone correct me if I'm wrong... I think I read this tip on this forum a while back.

Mazda survey - pricing insight on future changes to the cx5

I was glad they asked about cloth quality. I added I'd prefer the option of manual Tranny on all trim levels as well as offering only the advanced keyless system. I would like to see the diesel option too but not at that price. Even though I did pay about 8000 USD for the diesel engine in my...

New CX-5 Touring - Leaking something - Possibly AC condensation?

I've never owned a car that didn't leak water/condensate from the A/C system. That's normal.
