Magnum is right, stock or near stock won't be competitive with RX7's but, it doesn't mean it's not fun. If you want stock to be competitive and super reliable get a miata. If you want something that needs to be meticulously maintained and don't care about winning get an RX7. It's your preference.
I know the red loctite will melt off. Or at least it melted off when I did it. It's not high enough temp for exhaust studs. Drilling isn't that bad as long as you can gauge how deep to go.
Sucks, but my vote would be a miata or really anything "fun" with RWD. Hopefully you get a good amount out of her. I've been half tempted every once in a while to post a thread for my FC, but then I realize that this is a protege lover forum. So, I don't.
Yes and no. Yes they are both manufactured by Champion. No, they aren't the same. The Mobile1 has a tougher filter element (source below). Personally I used Mobile1 and Purolator One filters. Depends which is on sale at the local shops. I will never buy K&N anything. The air filters let through...
A funny thing is that a lot of murican cars (or parts at least) are made over seas and a lot of "import" cars are made in the states now. lolz. I mention that fact to murican car fan boys.
TBH I just wanted to get rid of it. Hate me all you want though. I would have scraped it if he didn't want it.
It's weird to see the doors have panels on them again Corey. Will it be ready for the 1st event? HAHAHA. You can co-drive the FC.
I'm pretty sure the AWR pans leak because they aren't fully welded at the flange. Thought there were some members who found that out. Should be an easy fix for you though. Fix it before you blow your engine again :p
