ok quick run down, and i am sure i a forgetting some stuff. you will need fogs, new switch harness (some have some don't) if harness isn't there you will need to add fuses into both the fuse pannel and the PJB.
then go back to the dealership they obviously didn't fix the issue. or maybe try a different dealership as the one you went to doesn't seem to be up to par. just my .02 cents man. i've only ever had to do chains on on 2.3L and it had retarded mileage on it.
to rusty chops, the tensioners are...
if its loose, and this isn't the first time its happened. i would replace the tensioner, as well as the guides possiably. how do you know its loose and its not something else you are hearing?
release clutch pedal, depress clutch pedal try again. forward gears are constant mesh helical cut, reverse is a straight cut gear, has to be lined up to go in
it doesn't. completly different body lines and attachment points. i've installed many of both, your better off to get a speed 3 spoiler and the upper hatch trim from an 07+ to delete the third brake light, as the spoiler will have the third in it
first, the installation of a short shifter would not help. go back to the dealership and tell them whats going on. was it like this as soon as you got the car back?
sounds like you are having a throttle issue, now without testing its impossiable to say but my primary suspects would be either the tps (integeral unit with the throttle body) or it could be the potentiometer in the peddle position switch
if its within 5 years there is a perferation warrenty. i have gotten both mine and my girlfriends fixed for free. mind you i don't get dicked around by any bulls*** as i'm a mazda tech. but all rust repairs not caused by collision, etc. should be covered under warrenty, especially in the wheel...
