UPDATE: I've now put just under 20K kms (12,400miles) on the updated transmission and the grinding going into 2nd has resurfaced in certain driving conditions. It seems the syncros aren't matching the rpms. It's going in this Fri but because the condition happens randomly under hard acceleration...

VERY Nice! Thanks for sharing! it's giving me inspiration to keep hunting for a DDX9903 for my CX5. :) I've never done sound unsulation before. Has anyone tried pulling the roof liner and doing that as well? it sounds pretty thin up there. :S

Drinking the Jeep kool aid, eh? VW owners are the same way. I was one of them...I kept coming up with excuses on how solid the cars were and how quiet they drove...when they weren't in the shop sucking me dry. :S Thankfully I've come to my senses and bought the CX5. :)

I too came from a TDI...2005 Passat TDI wagon I converted to a manual transmission and modded. I don't miss the repairs one bit! 4th TDI and I'm done giving VW money...I have no remorse for them. I couldn't be happier with the nimble 2013 CX5 with a slick manual!

I too would like to know how MaestroRR works with the CX5 Dmac43!
