Post Pictures of Your CX-5 Mods, Upgrades and Accessories!

It's slowly transforming into something that just looks horrid. Before it was tacky, but it has now left that spectrum. The vinyl, decals, and fake Brembo caliper covers take it too far.

Bought my Cx-5 Touring on the 20th. Thanks to the guides here and on dipmycar, I decided to plasti-dip my rear emblem. I loved how easy it was. So now I'll be dipping everything. Tommorow I will do the cx-5 emblem and roof rack for sure.

Don't like it? Peel it off. I may try dipping the front emblem red or white to contrast the black grill.

I want to buy 20's, but will have to wait a little til I can save up the cash. In the meantime.. I'm dipping.

I just used a toothpick to clean up and remove any gunk that stuck in the ridge that runs under/through the emblem.

First post for me...
Just got my cx-5 (2.2 diesel AT awd optimum tech model in Denmark) this tuesday and today I just got the back emblems off and painted the calipers red.

Still thinking about that evil m on the front...

Welcome!

Went out to test the stability of my new hitch mounted bike rack. I took Evil Emma out about 10 miles on unpaved, thick sanded roads full of whoop-de-whoops and not only she handle beautifully, but with confidence, too. The bike rack also gave me confidence to hold a bike that costs more than some used cars (bike)

My first wash since taking home from the dealer last week. I've never spent and hour and a half cleaning only the outside of a car before.

I bought an OEM cargo cover for 150 (cheaper than the 200 from the dealer), the black/red plastic covers for the cupholders and cubbies and some of the chinese-shipped scuff plates for about 30$ on amazon. Think I'll be putting them on the plastic trim. Thats the only place I ever seem to touch.

Dipped the back emblems and the roof rails. Tire shine gel works wonders on the dipped rails. Keeps it dark about as long as the wheels, and only takes a minute to apply.

I dipped the front M in white and gloss. Looked great.. except I had a hell of a time pulling the white dip from the inside of the emblem. Ended up lifting the wrong part trying to navigate the thin lines. Ended up peeling it off. I may retry with black, and then just leave the inside dipped because the outside masking I did peeled off perfectly.

I will be installing a 6000K HID kit this week and dipping the wheels in Anthracite Gray. Now that I'm looking at the license plate.. I'll be dipping that in Gray too. No free advertising for the dealer.

Can you share a picture of the red/black cup holder cover, sounds interesting, just cannot seem to find exactly what you are talking about

Dipped the wheels in Anthracite Gray, painted the calipers red. I was worried the calipers would be TOO showy/bright, but they hide well enough behind the wheel.

Thinking about buying the replacement side-view mirror covers in Black Mica, rather than dipping them. I can find them online for 80$. Ever since I saw another user with their "Stormtrooper" look, I loved it.

Finally pulled the trigger on the Racing Beat" exhaust" muffler, and I couldn't be any happier with it. Looks great, easy to instal and added some needed volume when you step on the go pedal. While I was back there installed the RokBlokz mud flaps. The over look of the backend looks, IMO ******* awesome.
