Sorry for the Late update:
So, It was either the driveshaft or the intake filter. (sorry changed 2 variables at once)

I believe it was the driveshaft, It had plenty of slop(about 15 degrees back and forth), and the "stumble" seemed to be correlated to output torque (happening in boost and only in 1-3rd gear)
I would assume if it was a filter restriction, I would have noticed it in all gears at max boost.

Replacing with a re-man driveshaft did ...

Now I am trying to diagnose the problem more, My AFR's don't seem much different while it is happening.... The problem is intermittent, but I may have narrowed it down to (still being intermittent) but only on gears 1-3 as maybe this condition has to do with the "load" on the engine.

The boost of course is during a high load situation, and therefore lets me feel the problem more.....So my initial hypotheses were boost related

It is possible that my cv joint ...

This weekend I got the inclination that maybe this "stumble" was related to that dampner on the fuel rail... Traded that with a spare one... no such luck.

Had 1 step cooler Champion plugs in the car,
Traded the spark plugs for the good ol NGK ZFR6F-11 or whichever is the normal ones
Could not notice much change.

Also traded the fuel pressure regulator with a spare one, with no luck.

I would think the chances that the problem lied ...

After graduating, and obtaining a job, I have some cash flow, and can afford now to properly diagnose this Mazdaspeed Protege.

This will serve as a log for me, as well as a resource for others to hopefully lean on...

Specific tools used for diagnosis would be a multimeter, ELM327 & Torque app, Innovate MTX-L Wideband, and Mechanical Boost/vac gauge.

A Sufficient list of items related to the car: Injen cold-air, seamless AL cold pipe, forge BPV, ...

just purchased a 2014 CX5 - the auto start doesn't work properly- it's supposed to have a 300 ft range. I've only gotten it to start once, at about 20 ft range straight in front of the car. Brought it in to the dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong. They said it could be frequencies interfering. They got it to start by aiming the auto start straight at the car, without any other cars in front of it in the parking lot at about 75-80 ft away. I've had factory installed auto starts on other ...
