Fmic + CAI or SRI
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any inputs :
Regarding the combination of a FMIC (hiboost) and an Injen CAI....
would it be best to keep it as a CAI or convert into an SRI.......
thanks....

i don't really think it matters that much....i have hiboost with injen cai and its fine.
If you do sri i think you have to relocate the maf.

I was wondering this too.
I have an Injen already and my Ion FMIC is in transit.
I was thinking of either converting the Injen or buying the Perrin SRI.

short ram. all a cai is doing is making it harder for the turbo to get inlet air.

heatshield is a pretty good idea if you have an open element filter.

So just buy a perrin intake and a heatshield or Weapon R for 138.. The Perrin intake cost about 175 plus shipping at ViVxxxxxracing .com. and i am ready for ur CAI....lol
