Hey all can anyone post a pic showing where I need to spray carb cleaner to check for an intake manifold leak? I have a 99 ES. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Nik

Spray along where the manifold meets the head. That will show where a gasket leak is. What is the reason for this?

Just my quest for figuring out my rough idle issue. Ive read that some 99s have had problems with a leak at the intake manifold and replacing the gasket is a fix, but before I spend on this I want to do the test. Ive already done just about everything else including, EGR valve, PCV valve, IAC valve, new plugs, fuel injector cleaner, O2 sensors, cleaned the maf and throttle body, full ground kit, so this is where Im at.
