Just installed the OEM fog lights on my '03 sedan this afternoon and thought I'd post a few notes in case someone needs later on. BTW, this is also posted on ProtegeClub.com

1) It's not hard, just take your time
2) There's 2 screws per side holding the bumper to the fender; you might not see the second one unless you look
3) Be careful and tape up the fender, headlight, and bumper where all three meet because they'll likely rub and may chip the paint
4) When removing the bumper, there's a small tab underneath each headlight, just forward of where the fender and bumper meet; you have to kind of lift up and then pull out; BE CAREFUL not to get frustrated and just yank on the bumper or you'll likely break the tab
5) Don't forget to run the harness under the bumper support; you'll see what I mean when you look at the under-side of the bumper
6) You migh have to reverse the plastic mounting clip on the left side; the way I got mine you would have to stretch the wires too far to get it to clip in the way they had it
7) The relay gets installed up under the dash, above the pedal cluster; from the schematic it looks like they're telling you to install it in a much lower position, like at the bottom of the lower panel

That's it for now. Feel free to PM me for any questions. And good luck with the install for anyone who does it.

cool, i didn't remove my bumber for the install, this made it a PIA.
i also used an aftermarket relay, but it's great that the wiring is done for you.

if you have pics of how the wire is run from the lights that'd be great. as i don't know how it's supposed to be and it used to fall and hang down.

Sorry, no pics. But I can tell you the harness came with clips that attached to tabs on the back side of the bumper. There are also a few spots where you could tie-wrap the wiring to. It's hard to see with the bumper on, though. Maybe jack up the car, remove the two center bolts holding on the bumper skin and peer inside. Good luck.

Yeah, looked too plain before. Now I'd really like to paint the mirrors, grill, and roof rails to match.
