Anybody known for their car??

I meet alot of people everyday and start bullshitting while smoking at work or wherever and start talking about cars and as soon as i say i have the turbocharged protege with blue grafix everybody seems to know exactly who i am. or i will be around a group and i hear people talking about my car amonst themselves and i walk over and say ya that is my car and all of a sudden i am cool in their books.

but my best story for this is i parked where i shouldn't have at work and a guy i have never in my life comes up to me and tells me i have a ticket on my car... my first response was how do you know what i drive?? he said everybody knows you and your car.

ok last story i was talking to my neighbor a few hrs ago and he was talking to his co-workers about cars so he brings up my car (he always helps me work on my car and wants to know what mods i have done) anyway they were talking about racing and everybody said they were scared to race me.....

i love it i dont know too many people here but it seems everybody knows me and my car

You know whats even funnier rob? I was in burlington at the mall to see a movie and a bunch of dudes in civics pull up as i am getting out of my car and they asked if i was the turbo charged protege from rainstate. I told them "no, but that spoiler is." they didnt get the joke (dunno) They said they had never seen the car they have just herd about it. They saw the RainState banners and just figured it had to be me. I told them that the one they are thinking of is black and it dosnt have a wing because i stole it.
so see your car is so famus mine got mistaken as yours in a nother town.

my buddy has an 03 350z with a bunch of bolt on stuff and some rims. the other night we went to a local car hang out (i drove too) and his car attracted about 10 people when we got there. since i parked next to him everyone kept asking me if i had a turbo and whatnot. i didnt open the hood till a couple minutes before we left, but it was fun to keep them wondering for an hour! so, i guess what i'm saying is that my car isn't known yet. soon tho, i hope.

it is fun to hear rumor about your own car, i have heard my car runs 10's, i have nitrous and am running 20 psi..... (nx is not installed yet but is sitting in my living room) but most were started by a 13 sec civic i beat.......

That's the way it was with my stang. It was a 4 cylinder, but I had people come up thinking it was a 351 or a blown 5.0. That car was a dog..

i'm known at all the local mazda dealers as "that protege guy" or "that guy that ran the protege garage store". when i first got my turbo kit the local tuner shop made of my car as "the world's fastest mazda protege". few times at the dennys people would ask me if i was the guy with the turbo p5. i stopped answering yes because most of the time they say, oh ok were you the one that blew your engine? yes, yes i did thanks for reminding me :D

when my rx7 went kaput and i had it towed, i paid the tow truck driver, swore i knew him but brushed it off. as he was leaving he asked me, "are you the one that owns the turbo protege?" i said yes and he goes "thought so, i towed it away when you blew up the engine."

considering i am on the only protege in my parish(county) fixed up, i am known for that good looking tan car with the big speakers... you dont know how many times i get asked if it is a civic.. gets agervating sometimes, but thats what i get for being badgeless and having the early 3rd gen front end.

the wierdest one was one of my friends in Baton Rouge, 50 miles away from my town, said he knew a cool lookin protege in houma and suprisingly the guy said.. oo the tan one with the body kit .. i heard he has a cool stereo..
