Installed a greddy type s to go with my Turbohoses hardpipes and Boost Sciences DV. Anytime I hit 4 psi now my car bogs and stalls or the rpms dip real low. It feels like it's runs extremely rich for a second and hesitates... I've got both the DV and BOV running off the brake booster line and the BOV is on the IC to TB pipe. Any ideas why it's not working? And yes, I have tried adjusting the bov.

You check for leaks?

I checked all the hoses. I'm going to check the BOV itself for leaks tomorrow. I want to add, also that yesterday I was running the BOV from the IM vac hoses and I wasn't getting this problem, but the BOV wasn't really blowing off, either.

check the couplers & t-fittings, too. i've cracked a t-fitting before and didn't realize it for quite some time.

I am using both springs in the BOV, too... should I only be using the large or small one?

i'd check tx speed demon's greddy type s without stalling thread.

I replaced those when I put in silicone hoses today and they seemed to be in good shape. I'll double check that. It almost feels like the BOV is opening up when I hit boost and not letting air into the IM. It jerks back like it's hitting fuel cut even though I'm at stock boost and it's 65 outside. hmmmMMMmmm

I think I'm going to pick through that one more time before I go to bed... I must've missed something.

Maybe the brake booster line on the straight out nipple is too strong of a vacuum?

I'm going to try tightening it down all the way tomorrow and working it loose again. oy this is getting annoying... more ideas are appreciated.s

Did you tap the brake booster line in the right spot? There is a valve in the line itself that you have to tap on one side or the other. Try searching for a brake booster thread, I know there is one with pics of where it needs to be tapped.
Good luck.

Bingo! I feel like a tool now. As long as this topic's open, do you think I'll be better off using both springs if I'm at/under 10 psi, or should I only use the larger one?

The reason youre bogging between shift is b/c its venting out too much air and you are super rich (in the 9 to 1 AFR).
