I notice some lightbulbs out on the market are more bluish and some are a extreme white. I got 4000k in my Pro and they I guess are white. I am looking to going to a more bluish tint when they are on. Does anyone know what I should go to Ex. 5000k, 6000k, etc.?

Thanks

the jspec lights i have in mine are 5000k and they have a bluish tint to them. my old luminics hyper whites were 5150k i believe and they were blue in them as well. i also have a pair of nokya arctic purples, they burn at 8500k and they have a PURPLE tint to them. so get something between 5000k to 8000k. i believe the bmw hid's run at 8000k, correct me if i'm wrong.

just becareful to watch out for the voltage rating. get something close to 55/65w you could probably do up to about 70w or 75w safe. the ones i have in mine right now at 85w/90w and i haven't had a problem yet.

I have PIAA 8000k spark blues, they deliver a bright white light with a definite blue tinge. They are the best I have found and have used a lot of bulbs, you can find other bulbs that have a bluish tinge but I have found that they dont last as long and they just arent as bright. Now the PIAA website doesnt list these bulbs as they are available only in Japan. I got mine on ebay, I just checked and I didnt find any 800k ones but check the link below and you can see the 7500k ones, should be about the same color you are looking for.

Also check this link these are the ones I have in case you want to keep looking, they pop up on ebay from time to time

Ive got a set of PIAA Super Plasma GT-X bulbs, i think theyre 6500K and put off a blue/light purple tint to them. THe nice thing is that they really pick up reflective things (IE smokey badging) really easily. I believe www.racinglab.com has them for like 65 bucks.
