Moss carries a hard top http://www.miatamania.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=33259 you might keep an eye on Ebay, sometimes people sell them there, or check miata.net and see if they have any for sale on that forum.

EBAY.......there are usualy 4-5 out there at any given time. Prices range from $650-$1200. The biggest issue is shipping, as it is prohibitively expensive. Find one as close to home as you can, so you can pick it up. BTW, ANY year hardtop will fit ANY year Miata

Not to be too pointy, but the hardtop latches for the 2003+ will not work on the older cars. But thats a simple fix to Mazda dealer to get older style latches... other than that, they are interchangable. If your car never had a HT, then you will need to buy "frankenstein bolts" and striker plates too.

damn. I was bidding on a hardtop that was being sold localy on ebay. I ended up in a bidding war against an online friend... And lost. Didn't know it was him. I was hopeing that the fact the guy didn't want to ship would keep cost down. it did, but I still lost. Now, the nice guy in me has offered to keep the top in my storage for my buddy who isn't local. sheesh.

Friend in Richmond VA. He wasn't advertising it, but was gonna trade another friend for her old Subaru DL. That deal fell through, so when I heard he wanted to get rid of it, I swooped in :)

My friend is a Mazda mechanic and his neighbor found a miata hardtop in the shed of her rental house. She said she has no idea what it's worth. He'll probably pick it up for $200...*jealous*

Are you still looking for a hard top? I have a white OE from a 93. It has the rear defrost and everthing worked fine last time it was on. Could you do pick up near Nashville, tn?

Check craigslist and autotrader. You can email people that are selling thier Miata with a hardtop, find someone that is desperate to sell their Miata and often they will unload it with the idea that they are still going to sell their car for a decent amount, often both parties win.
I got mine this way froma guy 15 minutes from me. It was already painted my color and I paid only 800. If I bought a non-montego blue HT it would have cost me 250 to 350 to get it painted.
