Solstice/Sky lead now heads Mazda NA design

Franz Von Holzhausen, one of the lead designers on the successful Pontiac Solstice/Saturn Sky has left General Motors and has been named Mazda North American Operations Design Director, responsible for overseeing the design and development of all vehicles for Mazda NA. GM has said they are adding 50 new design positions to help with attrition and to get fresh designs on the road at a faster pace.

ugh, i hated the look of the solstice at the auto show. the front was gross. the sky looks very nice though.

The Sky rocks. I'd so buy it and rebadge it to what it really is... an Opel.
