Hey all,
I have been looking everywhere for a turbo kit, preferably bolt on, for a 2001 Mazda Protege LX 2.0L. I have contacted salvage yards and they only have certain parts and then those parts are costing more than the whole kit itself. Here is where you guys come in, I need ya'll to post any places that have a turbo that is applicable for my car. I appreciate your time. Thanks.

Hey if you find a site with something for my car. Paste the link because I have found NOTHING that fits my car. I want a cold air intake, but I can't find one, same goes for the trubo kit too.

Yeah I already went there and that is WAY out of my price range. they want $3,995.00 for it. I'm not rich. I'm trying to go through salvage yards but it isn't looking so good.

Check some places there.

I saw a Partial Turbo Kit here (http://www.shaneracing.com/Mazda_Protege_Performance_Engine_Parts.html) , but as it says, it's not a bolt on, but more affordable.

if your looking for speed cheap, you probably want to find someone selling the used msp kit...its not an awesome kit, but it'll get the job done. do a search.

if you buy a junkyard turbo kit you'll get junkyard performance. You get what you pay for.

If the hiboost kit or swnore_corwins is out of your price range you should probably save up a little more.

yea, corwin is cheap as fuck. remember that these cars arent a dime a dozen so R and D costs more than on say a civic. my buddy got a greddy turbo set up for his civic with fuel management for like 1300 bucks non intercooled.
