i wanted to add some foglights to my 03.5 msp and i was wondering what options i have in terms of fitment and how to mount them.
i want fogs that will fill up the entire vent, and are a deep yellow color..
sorry i've been searching around on the forums but there are just too many threads and i haven't come across actual part #'s or suggestions.
i want to avoid the stock 03 fogs since i've read they require a bit of dremeling of the 03.5 lip.
i'd prefer to stick with known brands that offer warrantees, such as piaa, raybrig, ipf, etc., but i'll look at anything else that's out there.
btw, i've come to the conclusion that the fog lights won't make much of a difference to my injen cai, so .. eh.
thanks.

personally i have not seen someone use foglights that fill the hole completely and also keep the 03.5 lip, i suppose it could be done but i've never seen it and everything i have read points towards the removable of the lip for melting purposes...
what i do know, is that you will need the stock brackets from an 03/P5, and if you want it to look clean you might as well grab the switch off them as well... part numbers i dont know, but i beleive there is a group buy going on in the venders forum right now for PIAA fogs, and they are bound to have one that is the right size, you might want to start there (thumb)
good luck...

These are my fogs on the 03.5 MSP. They were offered by a guy who no longer does this stuff but you might be able to find someone selling the brackets and you can go from there.

This help at all?
The guys name Was Brian and his SN was like 03.5MSP I think, his brackets were the G3's but he also had G2's which I have. Not sure how many fogs will line up with the brackets light mounts but should be modifiable,

those fogs look like the halo type.. i'm looking for regular bulb type, and in yellow.
in any case, what are the dimensions on those halo fogs you have on your msp hazeXban? diameter/depth/etc? thanks for the info :)

LOL, he made the brackets, but is gone now. The Angel Eyes are the ones that fit the brackets he made. I've never seen the big yellow ones on an MSP. However, I think someone tinted the angel eyes yellow or something. You pretty much have to take off the 03.5 lip to get the ones you want to fit.

I don't really think so.....
You can get lights up to 5 inches and you should be ok....going with something bigger....then maybe not. Look for the same deminsions as the links listed and then get a yellow set. My cousin has yellow ones on his speed.

He is no longer making the brackets and has left the mazda community. You can't buy these anymore, only if someone is selling them second hand - like the the Dave B rings.
I modified my brackets because I wasn't too crazy about how far they stuck out in the lip. I think it makes it look a little more like the car came that way.
Good luck finding them, they are out there, you just have to be patient.

i got a set here somewhere. Not sure if I'd sell them though.

This is what the brackets looked like. Like everyone else said, these are not made anymore. Maybe if someone had a set of unused/unbent ones, someone else could step up to the plate and start to make these again. Or maybe Brian(03.5MSP) still has the measurements and would be willing to sell them to someone.

Thanks MS, unfortunately it is the ES kit. I have not had a problem with the kit (knocking on wood) but it was an absolute horror to get.

I have a set of G3's too. The fogs are going on my grey car as soon as springtime is here.

couldn't you just go to Autozone or something and get some of their piaa generic fogs? ...they have ways to mount those, im sure they'd work fine.

I doubt anything will mount as well and as clean as the G3 bracket. If you find something, please let us know.

I just bought Piaa fogs for my 03.5 msp. I tried the piaa 540 and it WILL NOT fit into the lip. I returned them for Piaa 510 ion and they fit nicely into the lip.

I've got a set of G3 brackets w/ Pilot fogs on my 03.5 msp. I bought them used here on the boards though.
