Has anyone been able to fit the GT SPEC 4pt ladder brace underneath their MSP? I have a catless 2.5" DP, and KB hangers. It seems to me like it should fit but corksports site says it wont clear??...

Anyone successfully got this to work?

In the mean time, I am installing *nearly* the rest of the GT SPEC lineup soon:

Yes, I just installed it on my '03 MSP about a month ago. It lined up fine with holes from the stock brace, and only took about 10 min. to install. It rubs a little on the DP though. I have the Apex DP with the Kartboy hangers too.

Yes, I am all about suspension and handling over raw power. I can't wait to see what happens when it is all in.

It is a brand new piece. It does not replace the OEM rubber bushing, it just slides in the side and fills in the gaps. It is quite pliable ("AT style"). I have seen similar pieces for other cars like my old SVT Contour, etc. It only cost $16 from AWR.

I have prothane inserts in my neon. The thing feels like a fucking race car. They're not at all pliable though. I know that the energy suspension inserts were more like a rubber and the prothanes are like a real hard plastic. You will NEED a vice or a big c-clamp to put the inserts in. It helped a great deal when I was doing the inserts on the rattle box.

Sounds good. I will try tomorrow to get all the AWR stuff in.

Just so you guys interested in this part know, the ladder bar does not fit with the CS exhaust system.

Eventually I plan on adding Y-Pipe (one side to exit, the other side go through the system) -to run open on the track. Then I'll be able to use my Ladder bar instead of having it just hang on my garage wall. :)
