You sonofa...My car is closer to 22.86Been getting well over 31 since reflashing the ECU to MP3 spec. Seriously. Reflashed my wife's 03.5 ES and she's gone from 26-27 to 29. Still have some changes to make on hers--plugs, etc.

does the mp3 require premium?

But you guys are running 91-93 on the Mp3 ECU's right? Kinda doesn't make 1mpg better worth the price difference in the gas?

Exactly how big is the P5 gas tank. I read somewhere that its 14.1 or something....but My car seems to fill up with about 12 gallons at the pump?
I got 350 on a full tank before the low fuel light came on. But the needle was not on empty. Just below the 1/4 tank. I'm sure I could have gotten another 20 miles on it.

i believe it's 14.5 gallons and the light comes on with about 2 gallons left, leaving about 50-60 miles left when the light comes on. I've personally driven about 35 miles with the light on. I wouldn't push it any further.

I've put a hair over 15 gallons in. The tank is 15.

But you guys are running 91-93 on the Mp3 ECU's right? Kinda doesn't make 1mpg better worth the price difference in the gas?I'm getting 470-480 mpt. Figure 91 octane averages $1.90/gal+, 85/87 is about $.20 less. Fillup is usually 14.5 gal+. That's about $3 more per tank with 91. I'm getting almost another 30 mpg/tank.

The car's smoother and a bit quicker to 6500, as well as from 0-60. For the $1.40-1.50 difference per tank with the added mileage figured in, no contest. :D

Yep, I'm running 93, but no biggie; With all the stuff I have planned, I'm going to need at least 93 in the long run, anyway. =)

Damn, that's alot per tank. I get 330-370 depending on my driving. For that much better milage I'd be tempted to get the MP3 ECU, though it's $1.89 for 87 here and 91/93 is $2.10-$2.30. I pay 24 bucks to fill up with 87 :(

shift at 2 rpms.

Shifting lower is inefficient - powerwise and fuel economy wise; you're putting the engine under greater load for no reason.

I run 87 pump gas on my stock ecu setting and get between 29-37mpg depending on how and where I drive.

All i've done is my Intake and my lightweight pully. I getting ready to install my phonelic spacers too.
