ehh its just a trend... dont paint your FMIC unless you paint it all black so it looks sleeperish.

yeah, lose the tabs if you run without the grille... and that intake looks like an activated SAM ready to take down incoming enemy....... or Bob Barker's microphone. I can't decide which.

While the filter does make your car look "happy" if you like it keep it....I say put the grill on because it looks good and will help to protect the FMIC...

Did you buy your car from Ferman, and what happened to your transmission?Nope I got my car at Lou Bachrodt Mazda. I blew the tranny from launching to hard off the line and the lsd broke along with other stuff.

While the filter does make your car look "happy" if you like it keep it....I say put the grill on because it looks good and will help to protect the FMIC...I decided to ditch the foam filter and go with the turbohoses 6in air ram instead. I dont know about the grille though I kept those tabs just in case but I havent put the grille on once yet. I like the way the intercooler looks without it.

So what should I do next to the ride? I was thinking of lowering it, adding a OEM cf hood, and picking up mircotech. Any thoughts?

i like my full turboback ghl, but if i already had the perrin i think i'd just get the ghl s-pipe...btw, your perrin fmic really makes my small wagner intercooler look like a bitch

i think you shold put the stock front lip on. The DGM makes the sedan front end look to heavy...

Diggin the fmic, in my opinion leave it the way it is, show it off a little, and it is good advertisment for perrin. Unless you want to look stock then paint it black.

By the way check out my new turbohoses air ram filter and mazdaspeedster grille. The bottom grille matches my dg grille perfect. Great mod for a great price

there's a broad selection with very good performance, and i think it'll be cheaper in the end (depending on a few factors).

well Chris is gonna try to make one .. just subscribe to the thread... and we'll see. im in the same situation as u. i have the DG grill and took out the 03.5 lip. i was considering the DG lip but its a lil too low for me so now i wanna drop the car and get that splitter. hopefully Chris can make em for around 100
