I just bought my 03' Mazda Protege in beautiful red coat. I love everything about the car EXCEPT the GAY GOLD BLING TRIM! This is my first Mazda, so I am not too familiar with the car, but I was told they only came with the gay gold bling. My question is, do they make a badge set in chrome or black to replace the gay gold bling without me having to debadge it and redneck paint the pieces?

Never seen p5 badges in gold before. Only ones I've seen are chrome. I'm sure you can get them at your local dealer.

I thought that was ALL they made until just now... You can find chrome at the dealer, or you can debadge, or you can paint...

Thank you. The answer I was looking for. I also would like to get a badgeless grill. Can someone turn me onto a good link to buy cosmetics and a little more power for my stock block?

P.S. I love the Mazda, but my other cars are GERMAN!

yea lemme look tongiht and see if i can figure what i did with the protege5 emblem (i just moved), i know for a fact i have the mazda emblem in my toolbox.

hmm gold badge, i would jsut "shave them off" and go badgeless, its fun when people dont kno wwhat ur driving =)

DGM has badgeless grill think thier on sale right now too.

Other then thath only way to get power out of these things is to turbo them.

I will try to get pics of the car with the gay gold bling up tonight. To me, red just does not go with gold, unless of course you go to USC.

Most dealers or custom places do that crap. Looks so ghetto. I'm glad you are gonna get rid of them!
