Bought a new car this weekend...

Mods, please forgive me...I can't seem to post a thread in off-topic.

Anyway, I ordered my 2005 Mustang GT Saturday. It's red with red leather, 1000w Shaker sound system 5-speed tranny and interior upgrade. Now all I have to do is wait 12-16 weeks for them to build it! Oh, and I'm keeping the MSP!

I must first say congratulations and that's a nice garage you've got...but

I know its nice to be the first on the block with a brand new car, but you realize this is a FORD MUSTANG and that there will be no shortage of them, even with the options you got. You obviously have a lot more money than me, 'cause if I'm going to buy a ford/chevy/dodge, I'm waiting until they are taking huge discounts on them (like they do 99% of the time). I just think you threw at the very LEAST $5,000 out the window and that's not pocket change.

ps: don't get mad at me, just IMO. I really am jelous of you.

Lol, it's all good. Yeah, sticker was around 29k w/all options, but I got it for $100 over invoice. (The man who built my house also owns the Ford dealer up the street) Yeah, it's gonna add another $450 dollars to my monthly payments, (car+insurance), but I just got a promotion and an 8k raise at work! This car is really quick, the sound system is the best stock system I've ever heard. The 4 10" subs set off car alarms at 100 feet away. This is a car I won't be selling for a long, long time. Has it been 3 months yet? Damn.

Nice purchase. Mustangs are selling well. Now get some FRPP shorty headers and swap out that 3.55 for a 3.73 or 4.10 for some real Mustang fun!
