A girl I dated for a month or so last year calls me out of the blue the other day. I hadn't heard from her since last Spring, but I work with her Aunt so I always got to ask how she was doing. She called me a week ago and said that she bought a Pro5. It was a good icebreaker to overcome all those monthes of not talking. So we are hanging out again and now I have 2 Pro5's to work on...which isn't so bad. I think it's kind of cool having a G/F that drives the same car as me. That just means that I can keep building mine to race and then use her's for driving around town. She gets scared really easy riding with me and my car isn't very comfortable for her (I don't mind it, but it's a really stiff ride).

yea...4 Mazda's in my driveway...if her aunt and mom show up it makes 6. If my mom shows up it's 7. Jeez..you would think Mazda could go ahead and tell Ford to shove it.

The P5 is a perfect car for a girl, it has great brakes and not a heck of a lot of power to get her into trouble.

my ex wants to buy a mazda. i told her to stick with the Tercel i sold her and keep running that into stationary objects rather than deface a quality vehicle with her lack of driving dexterity.

Exactly...and her's is auto without sportshift so it's about as slow a 3rd Gen Protege as possible.

yea my ex was cut cut off and felt the need to pull right up on the persons bumper then she got rearended and we were apart of a hit and run as well as a 4 car pile up in the middle of rush hour. Genius really...
Why is it they all talk on the phone while driving?

I don't think I have much to worry about with that. There isn't much left off of my car that I could give to her. Her car aside from being an Automatic is much nicer than mine. She only has 12,000 miles on it compared to my 101,000 miles.

brakes might be good, untill you top out the car and try to break really fast, they don't like that, which is how mine warped :rolleyes: oh wells

She mentioned tonight that she found pink colored washer nozzle lights. Took me less than 2 seconds to shoot that dead. After a brief discussion she seemed to understand what "tasteful" meant and that washer LED's won't be installed by me and will immediately be uninstalled if they happen to show up in my driveway.

It wouldn't normally be my cup of tea either, but my Pro5 is enjoying an extended stay in the garage right now to get ready for Auto-X this season so I'm driving around my old '88 323 stationwagon. It pretty much looks like I'm a bum with a hot girlfriend.
