97 millenia needs new transmission

what i am trying to find out is what transmissions can replace my broken one. i own a 97 mazda millenia, millercycle engine, 2.3L v6. if you have any ideas or knowledge on this subject please respond. thanks

From what I've heard the 2.3 S uses a different tranny than the 2.5 L version of the Millenia. I believe the two blocks are very similar and that the 2.5 transmission might even bolt up. The bad news is that it seems to be a worse transmission than the one you have in terms of reliability.
