I love how the MSP rides and handles. But, I have been thinking about lowering it with some Tein springs. But im a little skeptical. I know that Racing Beat did some research on the car, and I dont want lowering it more to effect how it rides and handles. I know it will stiffen up a bit, but will I shorten the life of the shocks, hows the handleing? I just need some input or advice.

thanks,
Ian

We have good tockico struts, so you wont shorten the life at all. Teins are a little softer than the RB's so the ride will be the same, however around 1in lower, which will help handling by lowering the center of gravity.

Handling cant really be improved on alot by changing out just springs, you need larger rear sway bars, end links, and much stiffer springs and shocks to get there.

Id recommend:
Tein Stechs
Goldine
Eibach Prokit.

PS. PM me with what you are paying for the springs, i may be able to get you a better deal.

I believe the spring rates on the Teins are higher than those on the stock RB's. The ride only feels softer because the Teins are progressive. Someone please corrrect me if I'm wrong.

I really cant tell the differance in the ride or the handling of the car?

I really cant tell the differance in the ride or the handling of the car?Hmm, then it sounds like all you're paying for is the lowered look...

the cars have a mild drop from the factory so you don't get raped by curbs and parking berms
