Does anyone know a brand and/or part number for the filter that goes on the Injen? I want to have the new one ready to swap before I dive back into that damn wheel well.
Thanks

Yeah, if anyone knows of a better one than K&N please tell me. Or even a part number for the K&N would be cool.

Yeah, if you want to save $, just clean it with K&N Recharge kit. But if you want something better, check out the one from Turbohoses at the URL below. It's pretty expensive, but these types of filters (including the one you have) are not designed to be replaced every time. Also I'm not sure if it will work in that location or not, but it's perfect for Injen SRI Conversion.

that makes no sense. you're going to have to get down there and replace the filter anyway with a new one so why buy a >$30 filter when you can use the filter designed for the intake for $9?

Mainly because I am skeptical about "cleaning" a filter. I'm sure it works, I'm probably just being obsessive compulsive about it. Like the guy who opens a bar of soap, uses it once then throws it out. But, I'd still like to have a part number if anyones has it. Besides, if it looks really cleanable, I can always take the new one back.

The Injen is not 3" at the flange, more like 2.5.

I've been looking for a replacement as well, since I bought my intake off of a wrecked car and the filter was crushed. K&N makes a couple, but I've not gotten a price yet, or found someone with them in stock.

Not sure... Jrod got the PN from me and then ordered it from somewhere that took like 3 months to get it to him. I heard they are backordered currently, so you might have to search around for one.

It is the same size as the MAF, which is 2.75" (or 70mm if you get the A'PEXi).;)
