For some reason I love reading articles on my car, no matter how old. Just the comparisons, test drives, mods, etc. I would like to be able to get a hold of all the articles that deal with the MSP/MP3.

I'm not at home to give the exact count and what magazines but here's what I can recall off of the top of my head.

4 or 5 articles in Sport Compact Car (2002 - 2004)
5 or 6 articles in Turbo Magazine
1 article in Import Racer Magazine
1 article in TPR Magazine
1 article in Speed (I think it's a MotorTrend product?)

Anyone know of others? Iknow there's got to be more.

One of my favorite articles is one that has the stock 1/4 time MSP they tested at 14.8...I think it is the Road and Track article. The sport compact car 8 great rides article about it is the best...I think it was one of the reasons I decided to buy the car after doing all my research.

Car and Driver May 2003.
The MSP goes up against Spec-V, SVT Focus, and SRT-4

Sport Compact Car October 2002.. the MSP gets like a 5 page review. And thats also the one where they say "it knock the Integra Type R off the mountain" refering to FWD handling.

Actually, the MSP got 3rd in that article... I have it at home. I was so pissed because if you look closely at the point totals, the MSP lost to the SVT Focus because the Focus got higher ratings in the looks/appearance category... SUCH BS!! Edged out the MSP by like a point or two.

the two SCC articles mentioned above are what made me want the car hands down. When I heard such a positive review, the fact that it could out hustle a type-r, and only lost to the srt-4 because of outright horsepower, i was sold.

I liked the SCC article where they called the "MSP" a special car and talked about hustling it down a twisty road..the the "slack jawed" amazement at its handling. I like it because it really captures how great the car is in from an enthusiasts point of view.
Also, don't forget the "Great Grip" article from Road and Track from June 2002 where the MP3 was put up against exotics and outslalomed the Ferrari Modena, BMW M3, EVO et al. That is like my favorite all time article. Those articles helped sway me toward the MSP from the RSX-S I had my deposit on.

Reading these articles never made me more depressed then I am now that I still don't have my car. Must go home for it. (cryhard)

The ridiculous variance of the stats in these articles is proof that you need to actually drive the cars you are comparing, then make your decision. I test drove the SVT, Spec-V, RSX Type S, Civic SI and a Supercharged Matrix. The salesmen seemed very nervous after I told each one of them that the only way I would even consider the car was if I could see what it was made of, lol. The MSP was hands-down my favorite.
I didn't even test drive the SRT-4 because I will never buy another Chrysler product after my previous experience.

By the way, anyone who thinks that the Fukass SVT looks better than the MSP must be a total fag. IMO

The Popular Mechanics article is what introduced me to the car, after the test drive I remember thinking "Oh, so that's what they mean by drives like it's on rails".....good memories :)
