I suppose I could go look...

Hey, if you run across any of the Mazda 3.636 ratio diff's those are worth $$$...

Most miata's run a 3.9...

Correction!

MSMs have 4.1 final drive, like all 94-97 Miatas.

All other 6-speed Miatas have 3.9 final drive.

All other 5-speed Miatas use 4.3 final drive.

so, what would happen if you put a 6spd diff in a 94-97 car??

would the gearing get longer and thus a greater top speed?

of course considering the car made like 300rwhp or so.

nope... in '04 all 6spd cars went to a 4.10 ratio as well.. they used to use the 3.9

5spds still use the 4.3
