2002 Protege 5 warranty

Anyone know what the factory warranty is for 2002 Proteges? I seem to remember the dealer telling me 3 yr 30K miles, but my manual said 3 yr 40k miles.

that's the one i have on my '02.5 ES. there are different coverages for different things.

For 2002, the manufacturer's warranty is 3 years, 50,000 miles. It changed to 4 years, 50,000 miles in 2003.

I called Mazda about this and had a guy look up my vin. I was told that since it is a 2002.5 I have unilt 5/13/06 or 50,000, so that would be 3 yrs/50K

so, did they extend the 2003 warranty to the 2002.5 p5's? the manual says 3yr/36k but that would be awesome.

my 2002.5 also has the 3/50k warranty on the window sticker. too bad it's been 2 and a half and i'm at 55k :(

nnnnnnnnnnnnnope..... 3/50 for 2002. Your manual might say different. By Sept 01, the warranty was 3/50 for the 02 models.
