no, but it does still allow for an upgraded radiator.
personally I would suggest a Ron Davis radiator (AWR uses Ron Davis)

You can get a PWR for 405$ Shipped from spd racing i believe and i think the the awr Rad is close to 500$...and a fan shroud kit for 375.00 not sure if you would be able to use the fans that come with the thumper kit..
and also keep in mind that I could easy install that thumper kit mwaaaahah and I might put your turbo in my pocket when your not loooooking

The PWR radiators are an epoxy radiator(epoxy is used to hold the tanks to the core).
The added heat or a turbo deterates the epoxy.
the Ron Davis has no epoxy. its all tig welded

joey i would be glad to have you install the thumper for when i get it. . . i also might be asking you if you can do some fiberglass for me when the time comes
so which radiator would be better PWR or Ron Davis?

so i wouldn't have to worry about the epoxy? also i would have to buy a CAT for the midpipe correct?

you could buy one, if you needed it for emissions testing, or just wanted to stay fairly clean. but if you wanted I'm sure you could have Beau add one. he typically charges around $100 for a cat added in.
as for the radiator, its WAY better than our plastic end cap stock crap. so expoxy or no, its still an upgrade.
I'd only worry if you lived in Arizona, Houston, south FL, or SoCal. with the thumper kit the GT30 is fairly close to the radiator, and the heat of it, coupled with 100+ deg temps might be too much for the radiator to keep the epoxy from coming apart. but who knows?

^ yeah, i'm with ryan on that.
if outside temps are not a problem, u can just get a P5 radiator....they are larger than MSP.

so being in jersey the epoxy doesn't really affect me. i'll have to talk to beau about adding a CAT when the time comes to buy the kit. how does the p5 rad compare to the AWR.

ocourse the AWR is a better unit, but with a P5 u dont have to get slim fans....saving $$.

the thumper comes with 3 slim SPAL fans anyways

yeah, the GT30 would hit the stockers regardless of radiator... its just neccisary... but hey, why spend that much on a very top of the line turbo jus to use a 100% stock cooling system... not wise IMO. I hope to upgrade to a Ron Davis soon after I install...
