Howdy howdy! What color and transmission? Future mods if any? Why the change from the fwd rocket?

Glad to have you here:)

ok, first and foremost, thanks for the warm welcomes. The srt is a great car, a blast to drive, but it has expensive taste. mobile 1 for the oil changes (once a month, i drive a LOT!) premium gas, and the viper buckets look sweet and do a really good job, but are not all that on long trips. So basicly i got a newer car (the srt was an '03) fo the same payments, but i get better gas mileage, and a lot more comfortable ride, plus the benifit of using convetional oil, and a good break on my insurance to. I am going to get married in about a year so i need every penny i can get. And my 6 is the blazing copper? i think thats it with the auto tranny, i didn't like the manuel, the shifter sat to far back

Btw the oil in the 6 is semi-synthetic. Motorcraft 5w-20. Its relatively inexpensive, about 1.40-1.80/qt. Pretty much all 5w-20's that meet the ford spec are semi-syn...so at least your 90% more conventional then the srt4 :).

mobil 1 0W-20 is welcome in the 6 as well :) also 87 is your friend. Electric Blue 05 SRT guy at pumps was talking to me...dynoed 315 FWHP and outruns STi's. Tiptronic 6i is a big step down gotta give you props for going thru with that.

yeah, there are a lot of big horsepower number srt's out there, i know of a few in the 500 range! That is a lot of power for those cars, stock i can burn out and not move without the assistance of the E-brake, the power can be over whelming if your not ready, but a very fun car none the less, just damn expensive.

are you sure it was an '05? i ask cause the blue is supposed to be gone for '05 and they don't have any of the staged upgrades out for the '05's yet, and that H/P figure sure does sound like stage 3?
