HID's Installed but what about the Fogs

Hello Everyone,

Okay so I installed the McCulloch Xenon HIDs and they are wonderful.
But now my fogs look so yellow. Can anyone recommend a great bulb that
will provide me with a more whiter light or something that will look like 5000K?
I've currently have the Silverstars but they look awful?

yes thats what i did with my old car. it looked really nice b.c anything will look yellow next to HID no matter what kinda bulb they are so you minds well go with bright yellow. It looks less tacky to me lol

Sweetest fogs ever

As much modding as you want. If you put the fogs in the stock location I think you just have to find a way to mount the bracket to the bumper....and still keep the lense centered.

I got them from Ghost when he slod his P5. I think you might be able to get them on Catz site. I only have see one shop that had them in stock. and they had one pair.

I purchased these fogs after I got my HID's. they fit on our factory brackets and they cost 40 bucks. They come in different colors, mine are amber..........

mr magnum and 01bluemp3 where did you get your fogs and what models are they? ive been looking for yellow fogs that are a direct replacement and require no modification. both of your cars look great with those lights. ill be putting on a 8000k HID conversion with the "euro" style headlights soon prolly.

speakin on fog lights i have a .5 and i would like to yank some fogs off a 03 msp or a 5 any help from someone who has done this

From what i hear, you gotta lose the front lip, or mod it to fit the lights, then get at mounting parts and slpice in the wires with a switch.

i found the Catz SR online and there are three different choices...driving, fog or spot. would the fog be the closest to factory style? does $168 sound right for price? where did you get yours from 01bluemp3? i know i have lots of questions, thanx for answering them for me. also, did you rewire your fogs to turn on with parking lights or is the mp3 like that?

I got the fog light mod done, and i got mine used off another forum member for helpin him work on his car when he sold it, he paid 300 new.so 168 is a hella good price. You just have to do a lil wiring when you get em. You cut the factory wire connector off for the factory light and wire in the power and ground from the catz to the wires you just the connector off of. taket about 15min.

how did you get the fogs to turn on with the parking lights? thanx again for all the info. ive been learning as much as i can about my car so i can start doing things i want to it. do you think the McCulloch HID are the best to get? i will lose high beams wont i? you only get those with H4 right?

Yea you will lose the High beams, get a H4 kit. There are two kinds, BI-xenon, they have the high beams in xenon, or one with a reg hallogen bulb, i got the one with the hallogen, wishing i got the bi xenon, go for that.
