i went to get my new toyo proxy FZ4's put on my car the other day. It seems that the place broke my lock nuts, and the actual lock key itself. Is there anyway i can get new ones besides the dealer. Right now my speed is sitting in my driveway with 4 lugnuts on each rim instead of the 5 it should have. Could i go to pepboys and buy some locking lug nuts with a lock off the shelf, or is there a specific size or anything like that.
Thanks for the feedback, i don't plan on driving my baby until i get the new lug nuts so if you could give me some advice. The other thing is, i'm taking my car to the dealer monday to get some new bushings put in the front and back. It seems i have the infamous clunk, and also the squeak when i hit bumps. So should i just get some OEM's or go to pepboys.
Thanks guys,
~Mike

i would take one of your reg. lugs off and take it to pepboys. they have all that stuff but there are several different sizes. you shouldn't have any problem finding a fit. and they will probably have several different keys as well. i had to buy a whole set of 16 with locks for my brother cuz my dad lost the nuts when i took the wheels off of my other car. it's not the best way cuz any theif might have all the keys but it will deter most. *locks keep honest ppl honest* even the rarest aren't going to deter the determined theif. hope that helps

thanks for the insight dude, i'll prolly take em to pepboys, i'm not too worried about my rims gettin jacked. But as you said locks keep honest people honest.

hey, i read back over your original post and i think the people that broke your key and lug nuts should buy your new ones from the dealer. and if they dont the go get a lawyer and i guarantee they will replace them. the dealer cost will be much much lower than a lawsuit over it.
