i dunno about the protege crowd, but probe owners love VIS, their hoods are widely sought after and a lot of people rave about their fenders fitment, but again thats not from protege owners, interesting tho...

most of the Vis hoods bought here for the protege have been substandard and thier warranty work has been spotty at best. i saw a vis hood on a cavalier the other day and the fitment was not so hot

You're better off molding vents or something on your stock fenders.

thats really interesting, because the people i've seen with VIS stuff absolutly love it, quality and fitment wise, this is really weird lol, that one car has awesome products, and others have shitty...

Actually, my ViS hood fits just like the stock did. Everything, including the closing/locking mechanism, lined right up to stock. My gaps are all even and comparable to that of stock.
Their EVO hood is nice other than the usless 'vents' on the top of the hood. All-in-all I was very satisfied (other than the CF look), so I guess I got the 1 good product they make judging by the reviews ViS gets on this forum!

I know someone who has a VIS CF hood on their Si and they were dissapointed in it. Not sure about the fenders though, didnt even know they existed

I have a VIS evo hood also. It fits great and looks good. I only have one complaint, and that is the side vents need to be covered or painted.
Otherwise I really like the hood.

I don't currently have any VIS on my msp, but have had quite a few kits on my honda, and IMO the VIS had a better fit than most of my WW, or ground designs. Actually I just contacted VIS 1 1/2 weeks ago in regards to those same fenders.
