...other than the stock location? I want fogs but I was trying to think of a unique setup. They might look dumb anywhere else...but the idea crossed my mind. Your opinions / pictures please.

I was actually thinking of replacing the signals in the headlights with fogs. You know, so that your headlights and your fogs are one unit.

Then what would you do for turn signals?

Interesting idea. What about in the upper corners of the lower grill? They would not block the IC too bad....

Here are some photoshop productions....

Pic 3 is for the Baja MSP idea....thanks mspdfreak

Stock location is the best....I was just hoping to use the driver-side opening for an air duct to my future SRI.

Many cars don't have the front turn signals. Plus we have the side ones and I'm not sure if we have the corner ones in the headlights or not? Someone confirm this?

i think all cars have front signals. how else will you let oncoming traffic know you're turning left, for example?

I know we have orange lenses in the side of our headlights unlike the protege wagon that has clear lenses. I don't know if they blink along with the signals in the front though....I guess I never looked.
With headlights so bright in the front (i.e. fogs in the headlamps), nobody facing you could see the side signals blinking. But of course around here people don't use blinkers all-together....

those side things do not blink

Not mounted directly in front like the Protege's, but definitely on the corners of the headlights. Speaking of which, it's confirmed that ours don't blink? Well, there goes the fog light idea...

You can make anything blink if you want it to. Just tap into the 12V running to the blinker and supply that to the 12V of the side marker...just put a diode in so you dont back-feed the system with 12V. That way the side markers will still come on when they are supposed to (mine blink with the alarm), and also come on when your turn signal is activated. Or you could just cut the 12V source to the side blinker and tap it into the 12V line going into the signal. The side marker will then do whatever the blinker is doing.

Ok....beside the point....it is possible but still hardly noticable from the front.
