radio presets

i have been trying to set the radio presets on the stock kenwood hu but i can't figure out how. can someone please tell me how

Once you have the station selected, push and hold the preset button, there should be some kinda flash on the display to let you know it was stored.

i tried that and it just went to whatever station the factory preset is at

I can't remember how to do it, but it's a pain in the ass......Read the manual, it has it in there.

I think you have to hold the menu button, then select the preset or something like that, I just remember it's alot more dificult than it should be. I've given up on resetting mine because I got tired of having to look in the manual to figure it out.

it's something like hold down the 3rd button til it brings up the station, then browse to what station you want, and hold down the corrisponding radio button you want to map it too, took a while to figure out even with the manual, i'll check when i leave here in a bit, and post back when i get home around midnight

Okay, hit the 1-5 button that you wish to store the station in. Then tune with the direction buttons under the volume to the station you want. Then press and hold the "3" button until it beeps. The preset is done. Repeat until insane.
