03.5 lip removal

I was going to try to take the lip off, but I couldn't seem to make it want to come off, just thought I'd see if anybody had any ideas on how to get it off.

I was suppressed how secure that thing actually was when I took mine off.

I tried a couple of weeks ago, and gave up because it wouldn't budge, so that how-to will make things alot easier this time around.
