I posted this on the 6 forums, but thought I would share over here too, considering you guys know me better.. enjoy!

Well my last car was a MSP and I really liked the look of the Racing hearts, so I wanted to put them on the new 6. I bought a set used wheels in perfect condition from a friend of mine from NC and had them shipped out to me in CA.
I did some research on the Mazda 6 forums regarding the fitment of the wheels on the 6.. and ALOT of people said they wouldnt fit. In fact I saw one thread that said they "DEFINATELY WILL NOT FIT".
This was in the "Wheels and tires FAQ of this forum:

1. The Mazdaspeed Protege wheels WILL NOT fir the US-spec MAZDA6. The bolt pattern is exactly the same but they simply will not fit (verified by Mazda dealers).
I also saw only one pic of a titatium with the MSP wheels before I got mine. Before I got the 6 there was a Mazda dealership in Thousand Oaks that were selling a few 6's with the MSP wheels already on. SO i was pretty certain they would fit considering.. But all my research was conflicting.
I got the MSP wheels on the 6 today and they look great. No fitment issues, and no rubbing. I'll take some better pics later.. but IT CAN BE DONE.

looks good, although...the has really big fender arches, so you prolly could have used some fatter tires. Looks like a lotta wheel gap...

yea as far as the wheel gap goes I wanted to get some springs to close up the gap.. Nothing too major. I had MSP wheels on my msp.. and I bought theese used from a friend of mine on the forums. I'm using the stock 6 tires until I can afford some others.

Ya I said if it explodes, please tell us...cause everyone and their mother has been yelling about it not working for some reason or another.

Throw some kuhmo mx's or Falken Azenis's on those bad boys! Mich's on those wheels just make me sad :(. Its like buying really nice shiny fancy shoes, then covering them in poo:).

Nice wheels why do they look like 16's in your picts but look like 17's in cat's pic?b/c an MZ6 is a LOT bigger than a protege and makes the rims appear smaller ;)
