It has a custom 3 gauge pod molded in, the seams on either side have been smoothed out, the radio trim ring has been molded in and the whole thing has been smoothed over and painted gloss black.
Here is the chronological progression:

I had it painted at a local body shop.
I will get a couple of pictures with the faceplate flipped.
I already had to take it out once because I had the connectors for the HVAC controls routed wrong. If I am careful with the removal process it should not crack, but it is a possibility.

looks awesome! I think I'm going to do something interesting with my center console since my buddy scratched it up and I'm not into CF rice replacement parts
btw, if you can make these for other people you would probably have a bunch of sales. I know I'd buy one.

Not sure about making these on demand. There are a lot of hours into making just this one.

What did you use just bondo, or did you glass it first then bondo? Thanks
Concept MSP

It is just bondo, no fiberglassing.

I had a guy that wanted to try to wrap it in CF, but he never came through for me so I just got it molded. Maybe I will try to make a CF one too.
