I was interested in purchasing a BOV but cant decide which one to get. Could you post your preferred brand. A friend recommended turbo xs. (www.turboxs.com) but the price is really low. I dont know if it is because its a peice of crap or not. i know hks is a good brand but the price is much higher. Is it worth it to spend more?

i am looking at bov also and i am stuck on what to do, everybody has different opinion and whih way to do it, blow off to atmosphere or recirculate. i read a lot of people have stalling issues when they vent to atmosphere, mainly when they are hard throttle then relaese, the fuel is too leaned out. some say you can recirculate and change the bpv also to prevent this. also does this rid us of the turkey? I like the hks, greddy rs, and the perrin performance bovs, quite a bit of people trust forged bov also

Just got a forge bov for christmas. sounds good not too loud, easy install if you still have stock ic piping. Haven't stalled yet or had the sensation that the car was going to. Do some serching. Tons of threads to help you guys decide.

i have the turboxs rfl, and it performs very well. a pretty good sound, i guess.
in retrospect, i think i would choose the greddy (at the time, type s, but now they have type rs) or the hks ssqv.
would you be purchasing a set or hardpipes or a fmic kit? or are you just putting a bov on?

i am going to eventually to a fmic w/ hard pipes and bov flanges on those pipes, most places you can have them do that for you when you order

If you want a BOV that doesnt fuck up when you open vent get an HKS. I've run both an HKS and Greddy Type S on a MSP way back a long time ago. Do a search and you'll find the threads.

I had a forge BOV with a hard pipe and it was perfect. I didnt have any turkey, only a nice bov sound. I currently have a Greddy Type S BOV with my MAF relocated and I think this is the best setup IMO.

HKS SQVV is really good. Right now I'm venting to atmo and no stall (I have the older adjustable version) Works nice and makes the car more responsive. Ah, the sound is awesome! :D
