I read through a bunch of these posts, but even if I were to buy all the mods and such, I wouldn't have any idea how to install them. Does anybody know of professional mazda tuners in Southern Cali, preferrably L.A.? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Two big thumbs up for SPD Racing. They have done most of the major work on my MSP and Chris and Seth and company are all top notch guys doing quality work. If I can make the 450 mile drive from Northern California I am sure you can make the much shorter drive from LA.
Driving a little bit out of your way is worth it when you found a tuner you can trust.

Trusting people is important, just be careful where ever you go.
