Tail Light Mod

Is it possible to get rid of the red that is on the tail lights of the protege. I guess to clearify i want modify my tails but in order to do what i want to i'm going to need to take off the red. Is there a way to strip it once the lights are taken apart? Thanks in advance.

its really hard to get apart the tails too...you cant bake em like the headlights, ive tried....

(second) good job you get the prize for nailing that one. No, i just want to do something original and i need a winter project. Tezza's are gay, and as far as being cheap, OEM tails cost just about as much so get the fuck out.

just steal the tail lights from an IS300 melt them and then mold them to your car...i did that

shit i wemt real cheap on my tails, i just got them tinted, not even painted . just got tint put on em ... but it looks kewl

now they aint altezzas, and i cant paint for shit, so here are some pics of my tails tinted with window tint.....lol. gonna shgave off the letters on the sides and get them done too. was only like 30 bux from a local tint shop. sorry for the size

dont mean to thread jack but what percentage tint did you get? did they tint the light all the way around or just over the edges?

all the way round . it has a few wrinklws where it goes around the back but.. i still think it looks kewl as hell and was only 30 any way i think it is 35 percent tint. they still shine pretty good at night
